Ok, so I have to say I am VERY happy with the great start to 2011.
Every single month the past 5 months has been a growth, so I am on the right path FINALLY!
My Adsense earnings rose from my previous best month (November)
November was £149.73 – January was £163.29 – yay ($262.38)! Around a 10% increase on my personal best.
My Clickbank earnings were like WOW this month – I have no idea why
$273.60 – my personal best every before was around the $100 mark.
My Amazon earnings were decidedly average at $69
I also earned $10 via wpgm commissions,
$200 for other items.
So overall this month came in at $745.98 WOW!
Kind of a buzz….

Each month is getting better and better.
Well my Adsense is – its grown each month and has once gain beaten last months earnings.
Talking of earnings… lets take a look:
Adsense: October was £85.71 (that is $137.63) – and November was £149.73 ($233.39 USD)
Amazon: October was £56.70 (or $91.07) – and November was £29.36 ($45.77)
Clickbank: October was £19 (Or $30) – and November was £38.49 ($60)
WPGM – $20 earnings.
Other earnings: $260 (down from $300)
So the overall earnings was $233.39 + $45.77 + $60 + $20 = $359.16 USD (£230.42 GBP)
So overall down on last month by around $300 – why?
Well I got an unplanned $50 hosting commission last month which I didnt get this month, as it was.. erm.. “unplanned”
Ive been promoting some software and the number of repeat buyers are dropping, and have dropped a lot, but this is just the name of the game.
The things I have always wanted to focus on are Adsense, Amazon and Clickbank, the others have been nice bonuses.
I am over the moon because this month I had been focusing on Adsense,.. and guess what.. earned more. In fact it went up by almost 80%!
I’ve dropped a few of my un-needed subscriptions to keep costs down, but plan to come back to some of them later.
So, expenditure is now only £112 so overall clear profit is £118.42 which is a small drop on last month by around £40 on the previous month.
In recent months I’ve been doing some Skype training with Heather Hyvarinen from the wordpress goldmine forum as well as having spent a day with George from Broon Dog Internet Marketing for a days training.
Both of these are available inside wordpress goldmine and offer training services.
Its starting to pay off.
Now I am focusing on keyword research, having had identified my weak points, things are really coming together.
When I was with George we built a site together which ranked on page 1 of Google within 48 hours.
Then I went home, did the same and predicted a position 7 on page 1… guess what…
position 8! lol, but to be fair another 48 hours later it DID get to position 7 – so its GOOD TO KNOW that doing it right and knowing how to do it works.
So expect to see continued growth.
I am now going to be pushing and pushing pages – pages that this time, I know should rank well.
A guy in the WordPress Goldmine forum called Briyan focused. In 5 months of doing Adsense he is now earning $117 a day.
If like me you want to waste 14 months tinkering along without really knowing what to do then carry on, else join WordPress Goldmine and you could see things happning for yourself.
Anyway, that obviosu bit of promotion out of the way, the serious note here is that with knowledge and focus comes money. Bryan did this. He focused on Adsense and took what he found to work and turned it into a full time income.
Guess what – he has built 200 pages of content – 50 sites with 4 on each, and only 64 of them are on page 2 – all that money from page 2!!!!
When he hits page 1 his income is going to shoot up to incredible levels.
Anyway, armed with this, Ive drawn a planner for my wall with 200 squares on it. Can you guess what Im going to do with it…?
Each page I make using my new found understanding is going to have a line drawn through that square.
Im aiming to do 1-2 or more pages a day so Im keen to see what happens in 3 months from now. Im going to be focusing on Adsense.

Well, so far so good, things continue to be on an upward trend.
At this stage of the game I am happy to report I have pretty much already beaten last months earnings via adsense and amazon. There are still 2 weeks left so this was a nice surprise.
My old friend Murphy has been throwing his law at me with a lot of vengeance this past month, and some of those arrows are taking me away from I.M. arghhhh!! but, in true fashion, I’m pushing back. Theres no other choice – when you HAVE to push back thats all you can do. Sometimes you gotta take the rough with the smooth.
I’m excited though to see earnings seem very consistent on an average daily basis of around £2 – £3 a day – woah, yeah big money, not … I know…. (Im talking about adsense). This is most certainly due to the push of those 20 sites I had developed.
Now, more interestingly, I had a site I made a few weeks ago. I set up the frame, SEO etc then had to complete some other work. When I came back to the site it had ranked at number 3 in Google with no content other than the domain name and site setup. A shell basically.
So I set out to add content and create backlinks to it. It was doing well, until I pushed one too many backlinks and now its vanished. I know it will return, but just goes to show you have to tread easy when the domains are new.
So that would be my advice for new sites

Hi folks,
After going on the uk conference a couple of months ago it has spurred me on to do some new things.
I spotted my current weak points – identifying niches and decided to outsource it.
The good news is you can still be successful even if you know nothing about a subject, although I am keen to be fully immersed, I am not at the “super affiliate” status of some friends over at WordPress Goldmine.
Still, progress is progress
Last month I posted that I was on around $560/month. Well that turned out to be slightly wrong due to a misunderstanding for a certain item I am promoting. So it was an overall of around $250 for July.
Adsense was quite similar in July, but in August I have had a defined increase – and I put this down to the outsourcing of having someone identify a niche and put a site together for me as an autoblog, in record time.
August overall:
Adsense: $41
Amazon: $5.66
Clickbank: $40
Other $400 – nice!
Anyway, like I say, las October I was wholly a NEWBIE on $0 a month.
I don’t care whe people say it’s a rubbish income – it’s MY income and a result of me staying focused on one thing – internet marketing.
Ive known for around 15 years that I want PASSIVE INCOME for the rest of my life. Its been in my mind for at least that amount of time and I have actively pursued it through multi level marketing.
You know… you culd get a college education for 5 years, stuidy hard and spend a lot of money financing that education and end up on a job of $60,000 a year, for life until you retire when it drops.
Alternatively you could work hard for 5 years, spend money on your internet marketing education and end up on a passive income for life that comes in whether you work or not,sick or not, on vacation or not, and there are no limits to it.
Which option sounds best?
Invest in your education today.

Thanks to WordPress Goldmine I have now been learning Internet marketing for 10 months in the best environment you can imagine.
In all that time I have had small successes in some areas, and no successes in others. I think that I found this topic difficult to deal with due to information overload.
My average adsense, clickbank and amazon earnings have remained steady (and slow), however I did report last that I was promoting something, and its been a bit of w inner.
At the moment its making me in the region of $560 per month. I am blown away by this concept of passive income, in fact I am mesmerised by the whole thing… cut me down the middle and you will read “passive income” inside of me.
I have started to outsource some of the things I have difficulty with, and so a very good person is kindly building me some sites and videoing everything. Its a great way to improve.
So what about you?
When is it going to be “your” time?
I spent the past 4 years wasting time and money. 4 years ago I met Mark Thompson who owns wordpress goldmine and he was making these crazy websites. I was doign my thing, trying to be a big king, running sites that had over 15,000 members and yet why after 4 years wasnt I a rich man?
For me, doing this has been the one thing that made me stop doing everything else and just focus on one thing, a real thing. The one thing that required effort.

Folks, when the next 12 places are sold at WordPress Goldmine the price is going to go up according to the owner Mark.
I absolutely adore this place and it has the the numero uno place for me to learn internet marketing.
Right now it’s just under 20 bucks a month, and you can try it for 1 dollar.
I emplore you to get involved if you are “at that point” where you MUST start making money online. I was in october 2009 and have never looked back.

My progress update using WordPress Goldmine for Thursday 17th June 2010.
Ok, thought I’d post an update.
I have been doing all this internet marketing stuff, and being in a position where I can devote full time attention to it, having had a bit of cash in reserve to see me through.
One thing I hadn’t been doing was pinging, bookmarking, clipmarking and submitting the rss feeds for my “backlinks”.
DOH!
I’d done it for new blog posts, new sites but not for the backlinks.
To cut a long story short I’ve spent 6+ months creating backlinks and Im guessing a lot of them haven’t even been indexed…..!
All that effort..
Anyway, I am starting to work through them, at the same time as deal with writing website sales letters and articles.
Happy to report that my website is now number 1 in google for its main search term yay! “website sales letters”
Anyway, here are the earnings from yesterday:
Adsense £1.47
Amazon £2.17
Clickbank £0.00
Other – promoting a new service generating $20/month in referral commissions. So far I am up to 6 referrals, as long as none cancel its potentially $120/month.

Progress Update On WordPress Goldmine Earnings
I havent posted a progress update for a few weeks because there wasn’t a whole amount of need. The past 6 weeks or so are basically when I have started full time at this. I am still earning but the more I learn the more I earn.
Adsense:
Back in April I earned £5.48 adsense in May I have earned £4.91 June so far its at £2.51 – it’s good to know that things tend to follow a certain ongoing continual path and I’m happy to know that basically what I am doing is slowly building a passive income empire. I know some people scoff and laugh at the earnings but everyone has to start somewhere. Ive never claimed to be the fastest but I certainly understand the rules.
Amazon:
April was $7.04, May was $3.76 and June so far is just $0.54 – Not sure what to say on that, maybe Ive encountered competition for my sites, or maybe it’s just fact that the income goes up and down – if I had 100 sites in my arsenal it could be arather different story.
Clickbank:
April $0.00 May $0.00 June $0.00 (There was a sale which would have netted me $30 a month but it got refunded).
WordPress Goldmine Affiliate Sales:
April: $20.48 May $19.98 June to be reviewed at month end but should be 3 subscribers so around $28.
Other sales:
I am promoting other items too, one of which I should have sold 2 subscriptions earning me $20 on each so thats at $40 per month.
So, progress so far I am sitting somewhere in the region of
Adsense roughly $7
Amazon proposed $2
Clickbank ….
WPGM $28
Other $40
So all in about $77 a month.
Woweee some of you may say, and wowee I say too but I don’t care! Potentially thats $70 a month for life as long as I keep doing maintenance promotion.
Now Im working full time at this I am starting to see the fruits of my effort. Other people have had bigger successes and I congratulate them, but I am after all making progress udner my own steam, and it’s a good feeling.
To date, I still only own 6 or 7 sites and havent done nearly enough on all of them and for a long time have been.
Plus, it’s really only recently Ive been “getting it” and understanding the bigger picture.
Do you know… would it REALLY MATTER if it took me 5 years to reach a full time passive income? Some people would say thats not acceptable, but lets look another way.
Doctors study for 5-10 years, people in well paid professions study at university for 5 years without a guarantee of a job, plus when they retire, the money stops unles theyve got a brilliant pension. How good are pensions anyway these days?
Plus, they STILL have to go to work 40 hours a week when they are sick or ill and they still have to beg and plead like sick puppies for any time off, plus their bosses make them feel like crap day in day out.. no thanks…
Me, with ongoing maintenance, I can happily build this money up, and even one day pay outsourcers to take over 95% of the work leaving me to do what I want, when I want for the rest of my life.
If I want that £70,000 BMW I can have it.
Many people who have spent their WHOLE LIVES chasing their dreams get frustrated over and over and over each time they read stuff like this, because they are stressed that it’s not working for them.

Other news:
Search engine results page positioning is increasing almost daily. This is the key – having more and more pages of content that show up in the SERPS. I have spent the past few weeks doing just that – adding content to my sites and bookmarrking the pages(as well as some other techniques you’ll lear inside wpgm if you join).
One site I recently pushed, I targeted about 15 phrases – and wrote content for each phrase and 2 weeks later 90% of those phrases now show up on page 1 of Google.
I’ve also come to realise that all this time Ive been targetting keyword phrases with low search volume and low adsense earnings, so this is another factor that has influenced the overall earnings.

This is the month I start putting a heap more time into things, so expect to see alot more activity posted and soon, better results being listed!
Its a public holiday here in the Uk, and with the family at home it is difficult to put too much work in, and of course this week and maybe next week I will be helping out my former boss for the last time.
Anyway, Yesterday I saw the following (for zero effort

General thoughts. I find myself chasing terms and phrases that don’t always have high search volumes, but it is more of an ego boost, so a self-note to myself – stop worrying and focus on the high search numbers.
I know we are taught to chase the phrases with small search volume amounts, of at least 1000 to 5000 searches per month and that is great and of course do-able, but Mark hinted in his update that it’s possible with the extra tools in the article dominance review to actually dominate higher searched terms over a longer period of time. (NOTE: Everything inside the article dominance report can be accessed inside of WordPress Goldmine, and of course you can access the WordPress Goldmine $1 trial for yes, just one dollar.)
And this REALLY whetted my appetite.
I found a phrase that I normally overlook – something like 150,000 searches a month, or 5000 a day.
yes I needed hundreds and hundreds of backlinks, possibly thousands and the competition was stuff but if you imagine that over, say 5 years you work at this goal and one day break through and get onto page 1, the top 2 or 3, this could mean 1000 to 2500 hits a day to that site or page.
Now if you were selling a product that made you $50 profit on it, this could easily equate to 10 or 20 sales… a day…
Hmm…
Now the thought of doing 20 x $50, or $1000 a day which is the same as ahem.. $365,000 a year is kind of scary and exciting.

Well I thought it was pointless providing progress updates the last couple of weeks and of course the past 8 weeks I haven’t really done any internet marketing at all.
Thanks to wordpress goldmine though, things could not be better, given the circumstances.
Someone criticised my progress a few weeks ago which I thought was unfair given the fact we have been dealing with the estate of my now dead father in law who died suddenly from a heart attack, in the street.
Now thankfully most of the stuff is behind me and all I can say is WATCH THIS SPACE for May!
Now on to the results.
My Adsense dropped a little bit compared to last month by 36%
Adsense £5.48 (£8.63 last month)
I know why the drop was significant. Last month I had a single click from one site for £1.98 and that site hasnt had any further promotion from me yet.
And really this isnt a good measure on just 5 or 6 sites.
Clickbank earnings £0.00
Amazon was a good result: I doubled the number of clicks to over 200 and the earnings came out at almost double compared to last month too. Not bad for zero work.
Amazon earnings: $7.04 (USD) or £4.60
As for referring new people to WPGM I increased the signups for a third month in a row, with one per month.
This is all testament to the fact that this WORKS.
I am wholly convinced beyond ANY reasonable doubt whatsoever and now have been a member since October 2010.
The ONLY reason I’m not doing hundreds per month yet is because of the family death and everything we’ve had to do since then – the whole affair was left for me and my wife to deal with.
6 sites up, 5 are on page 1 with 2 of them at position 1 in the search engines.
I know that I can build a site a day if I want to, but I also know that in a lot of the cases you need to continually work on each site adding backlinks, pushing them higher up the rankings and keeping them there.
I have friends who can build one site a day and with great research do little else to them until they need it – a nice approach, but to encompass all kinds of sites we need to push all methods.
i.e. diversify…
Now, I can go on and on and on about this for hours as it’s something I went into very thoroughly a few years ago and I intend to get some reports written up to give away in the future to explain what I mean…
